Blackacre: black.acre (noun). A placeholder name of a fictitious or hypothetical estate in land. Used to distinguish from Whiteacre, Greenacre, and Brownacre. 

Blackacre are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors & Valuers, regulated by the RICS. Our Directors have extensive experience and knowledge, along with a holistic understanding of buildings and the property market. This allows us to provide a wide range of services. Blackacre provide professional advice in Building Surveying; including, Neighbourly Matters, Building Projects and Core disciplines, along with Valuation services, such as Private valuations, Lease Advisory and Market Assessments.

The company was founded by Ben Salvage following a successful career working in London’s Commercial and Residential property sectors. Having been employed by some highly respected building consultancies, and having worked within a number of professional disciplines, he now brings this expertise to Blackacre. ​Among private clients he has also provided services to various corporate clients including:

Blackacre is also run by Simon Ly who deals with the Valuation side of the practice. Simon has extensive experience working in Central London firms and for a variety of residential and commercial clients.
