3D Modelling

What we provide

Our 3D Modelling service works hand in hand with our laser scan and point cloud processes to deliver intelligent, accurate representations of your building in digital space. With this, we can provide:

  • A geometrically accurate 3D model built from the point cloud, capturing walls, floors, roofs, structural elements, and key MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) features

  • Parametric or “smart” modelling (where appropriate) suitable for integration into Revit, ArchiCAD, or other BIM platforms

  • Clash detection / collision checking with MEP or structural models (if required)

  • Render-ready exports, visualisations or walkthroughs to help you, your clients or stakeholders understand the space

  • As-built / record BIM deliverables if you are planning retrofit, refurbishment, extension or structural interventions

Why use 3D Modelling

  • Reduces design risk: changes or conflicts are easier to spot in three dimensions

  • Better coordination: combining architectural, structural and MEP models for more seamless collaboration

  • Faster decision-making: visual clarity helps clients, planners and contractors understand the project

  • Enhanced reuse: the model can be reused through the lifecycle of the building (maintenance, refurbishment, fit-out)

As with all our surveying work, you benefit from the high accuracy of laser scanning; we typically achieve room-level tolerances in the single-millimetre range. Our models can be delivered at multiple Levels of Detail (LOD) depending on your project needs, from basic shell models to fully detailed interior builds.
